sprocket hub help

hey guys is the honda 400ex sprocket hub pressed on or what... i know it has one of those push rings on the outside and i know the sprocket hub needs to come out that way toward the hub.. but how do you get that ring out without moving the sprocket hub back towards the inside of the axle so you can get to the ring.. you have to move it to get the ring out.. so fill me in plz lol

no one?? i now know its pressed on.. but do i have to have it pressed back towards the middle of the axle to get the push ring out.. or do you have to try and get it out while the sprocket hub is on where it is.. and then have it pressed off straight off towards the hub..
