anybody ever put a 150 dirt bike motor in a trx90? Just looking for more power and a clutch. Anything thats cheaper than buying a new raptor 250. The boys wanting to keep up with his buddies 250 raptor. Any ideas?

im in the process of doing it now should have it finished in the next few weeks ill post pics and tell you if i run into any trouble if you like but to be honest buying a 250 would be cheaper if you dont mind the extra weight

the 2 stroke would be easier but everyone runs the 85. we are using the radiator off my yfz450 just because our fabricator needed it now. had to cut the middle bars on the frame to make room for the radiator think that was the only trouble spot. ill post some pics when we get it back should be this week

are you going to race that you might want to check the rules if you are. we are only aloud to run up to 85cc 2stroke or up to 150cc 4stroke but im sure if your not winning every race they wont even worry about it

yeah a lot but my fab guy that did the work on the frame is badass he builds race cars. we got lucky it came out perfect just got the gearing right and with my daughter on it it runs with my tricked 450
