DASA different endcaps?

Just curious. Ive been noticing that some of the endcaps on the dasa'a that ppl on here are running look like they've been bored out or something??? and that the three raised "vent" things around the opening look like they're open.? Ive never seen one like this in person, and mines not like that. I was just wandering is DASA makes them that way on the newer ones or what?. Thanks guys.

The only one I have seen in person like that was Joe Byrds. But on my Joe Byrd Dasa, the 3 raised vents are closed.

i jus got a new dasa pipe and the 3 vents are open

Mine are open...

I think the classic 14" cans have the open vents and the longer Race can version has them closed.
Not sure but I think the core dia might also be different.

o alright. I guess mines the race version cause it stuck way out close to the end of the grab bar so i took 2 inhes out of it to get it out of the way. Any one know where you could find maybe just the new version endcap?
