xfr nerf install question

This is for a 2006 90cc drr single a arm.
I have the floorboards off. Do the stock mounting tabs for the floor boards need to be removed from the frame in order to properly install the xfr nerfs?

No, unless they are the weld on ones.

These ARE the weld ons.
So the stock tabs must come off then?

Whats the best method?
Sawsall,torch,hand grinder?
