will rear 400ex pep shock fit my 450r?!?!?!

dumb as it sounds i need to know if a rear shock off a 400ex will fir on my 450r? i pulled a good one and didnt pay attention to the linkage in the picture and bought a pep zps rear shock and stock linkage a guy offered to my wanted add for a pep zps shock for a trx450r, after paying for it and expecting it any day now mx450 was nice enough to point out my error. i know the 450r shock will fit on the 400ex i just need to know if i can even use this pep on my 450r. i have a stock 07 linkage sitting here or am i f****d. any help is greatly apreciated.

I took my elka 400ex an put on my 450r...she was way up in the air..i wouldnt recommend it. Hope this helps

Spoke with sf racing today and he told me gonna cost $350-$409 to get it right for my 450r. Between that and what I paid for the shock I could buy a new one. Quad9 the guy I got it from seems hesitent to refund my money on the shock so guess we'll see
