After trying unsuccessfully to use the traditional front brake bleed process of pulling the brake lever and turning the bleeder for three seconds, I decided it was time to try a different approach.
Take the cap off of the resovoir, verify that there is brake fluid in the resovoir. Pull and keep pulled the brake lever. Then use your thumb to push the black grommett down five times, on the fifth time press and hold the grommett. Have some loosen the bleeder for approximately three seconds and then tighten it. Release the brake lever Repeat this process until the lever accumulates an appropriate amount of tension.
This worked for me, hope it works for you.
