early upgrade with at&t?

I have had my lg vu for a little over a year and I dropped it and when I called insurance I entered a random date. that was a mistake because they will only replace your phone if you call it in within 60 days so now I cant use my phone. Im supposed to be eligible for a upgrade in may will they let me upgrade early?

Depends who you talk to in the store. If you're a good talker you can probably upgrade for free. Otherwise its $200 for an early upgrade

I did an early upgrade to an iPhone and still got a discount. It's not the 2 year contract price but it's not the full price either.
