Completely new to this bike, previously owned 2 Banshee's, but I took my 06' LTZ400 out yesterday and simply took the airbox off because i generally do when there is no water, and the bike would bog horribly in every gear. I'm lost, never had this problem before.

you need to bump up the MJ to at least a 142.5

MIZZOU what part of Montana are you from? The elevation is definitely going to affect it.

Great Falls, elevation is around 2000-3000ft, never goes over 5k in the mountains where we ride.

cataway - I haven't had time to jet the carb, yet. Is that what you'd recommend though?

yes 142.5 it should have a 130 in it now ,right ?

Yeah it does, in two weeks it will have a FCR 39mm. But I'll have them jet this one for now. Thanks for the help.

the fcr ,is it from a yfz ? there is a bunch of info on that

I believe it is from a KTM, I'm not sure though Ill get back to ya

Have you ever done engine mods to you banshees? cause they wouldve needed jetting too even if you did something like that if they have boxes idk anything about them. Along with the fcr39 upgrade i think you should look into a couple other mods to really help bring out the power that the fcr39 carb.. exhaust, intake boot, filter
