250ex starter troubles

my starter is stuck, as soon as i turn the key it starts cranking the motor. its so damn annoying!

Take your hand controls off and see if the switch is stuck, if it isnt, then locate the starter silanoid, a cylender in a black rubber sleve next to the battery, the positive leade from the batt goes there. If the switch isnt stuck, take the silanoid out of the rubber boot, and tap it lightly with a screw driver, it that doesnt free it up then you will probably need a new silanoid, or you have a short in wiring somewhere.
