oversized tires

alright i posted this in the arctic cat section already but that part is dead so if someone could answer this ? for me i would appreciate it


my dad has a 750 i think .... rims he has 25x8x12 on the front 25x10x12 on the back he wants to get tires 27x9x12 on the front 27x12x12 on the rear

would these mount correctly and fit or does he need a bigger rim?

they should work ok. they are both 12" rims so you are good.

the 25 is the diameter of the tire,

the 8 is how wide it is

the 12 is the diameer of the rim
25X8X12

so any tire with X12 for the last number is designed to go on a 12" rim. the rims are different widths but i would say that they should be fine on the stock rims with 10 and 12 wide.
