Loretta Lynn's 2010 Two Stroke Banner

Some of you may recall that over the past few years, my buddy, Jeff, and I have a tradition of attending the Loretta Lynn's GNCC and cheering on the two strokes. Part of our antics is to stake and staple banners so the two stroke guys know we're pulling for them (see below). Last year we brought air horns. Add a few beers and it's great fun!

Anyway, you can see we reused the same slogans both times. We need some fresh material and this thread is for taking suggestions. We'll need two, one small and one larger sign. So what should they say?

Yeah, I might take you up on that. The only thing is we don't keep the signs; we leave them where we put them for the bikes the next day (we don't stick around for the bikes)

Good luck seeing any 2 strokes, I raced at Steel creek this past weekend and I was the only one there to my knowlege. but man I got a lot of thumbs up till I burnt my clutch up with 5 miles to go on the last lap. But then again Lorettas does seem to bring a few out!

I have a buddy that is planning on racing a Banshee at Loretta's this year. It'll be his first GNCC. I've already told him about the banners you guys put up. "Screw Al Gore, two smokes forever!"

Loretta's gets between eight an ten each year. Last year a guy brought out a Quadzilla.

Tennessee seems to have a lot of 250Rs running around.

After a little deliberation and a few days of forgetting ( been a little busy ), My buddy and I decided to use the following two suggestions.

"Two Strokes: Because fours waste two many"

and

"It's not fast without mixed gas"

Yeah, we'll go with those, although let me edit the first to say

Let me get back to you on the T-shirts. There are only a couple of us going and we don't know what to put on them. Got a ball park of what they'd be?

Glad to hear 2 strokes are out there still I hate 4 strokes I wouldn't trade my banshee for a brand spanking new 450 I don't buy dirtwheels anymore because its 4 stroke garbage I don't care if I offend its my opinion and I strongly feel the us government and manufacturers are responsible for the annoying flood of 4 strokes in all the races.try to post nice pics and maybe some videos also I would like to hear how your R is set up

Even though its not the GNCC, but it is the Extreme Dirt Track I'm talking about & at least 4 board members sitting on the new board that are two stroke die hards & voting hard to get 2 strokes back in place.

I dont know how you could word that in short & simple terms, so the riders could read it flying by, but would be nice to let them know WE ARE HERE VOTING.

When they put me in the ground, toes sticking up, I will still be 2 strokes forever.

Which makes the most sence, rob a rider that dont have enough money to keep rebuilding that 4 poker & put them out of racing, or let them compete on two strokes that will run & last awhile & you end up with more riders competing in the events.

Got the banners and shirts with no problem; they looked great!

But it rained, rained, and rained some more, so we had rain gear on and nobody saw them. We pulled out one banner and saved the other. Ended up getting the shirts and one banner muddy. Saved the shirts after four washes, but the one banner faded.

I'm glad that you liked the t-shirts. I didn't heat set the banners, I thought you was going to leave them. The t-shirts will hold up just fine. I like it when those 4-pokers get mad!!:D

Well, the original plan was to bring one out for the morning race, then the other out for the afternoon, but then the rain started coming down, the one banner got trashed and the other we liked too much, so we put everything away and tried to find a way to not be miserable in the rain.

I think we're going to try again next year, and hope it isn't raining as much and I don't get a cold.
