I have a 2003 polaris sportsman that has been completely rebuilt, new carb and filter oil injection removed, hetrick pipe, no rev cdi, clutch kit, 19/30 gearing. My question is the bike ran perfect the first two rides of fifeteen minutes or so, now the bike will only run with it choked more than half way. I have checked the jet and nothing is pluged up. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

My next question is I would like the bike to engage quicker(now it takes about 5-8 feet before it really takes hold currently1500rpm torsion spring 5 gram rollers and 2000 rpm shoe spring). Do I lighten up on the torsion spring? or what?

Thanks

See my other post in the wheel spacers thread. I think you may have recieved stud extenders for polaris stand thread and not the metric for the import mini.

Post #4 is for the last 1/2 of post #2. Polaris has used both standard(USA) and metric(IMPORT) threads for thier lugs. The import mini's have a metric thread and some of the ebay lug extenders that are marked polaris are a standard pitch. You will need to check your thread pitch to make sure you are getting what you need. The item title on the ebay lug extenders could misslead you.
