well i have had the 440 in the bike for about 3 years and i need to tear into it now and change the head gaskets and make sure everything is going well, problem is i have been out of the 400 scene ever since i got my ltr so some of you guys that run the 440 or big kits what gasket kits are you using? i want something good its my g/f bike and i don't want it blowing any gaskets while out ridding. any input would be great thanks. bike has 12:1 compression, stage 2 hot cam, hd head studs, 440 kit i think thats all internally, but has full exhaust and 450r carb.

I would use a Duncan head gasket. It is specially made for the 440.

Havn't had any time on the bike yet, but I am using a cometic gaskets.. If they are anything like the ones they use/sell for autos, they are a tuff gasket to beat..
