Maximum XC width

I am building a XC quad and was wondering what the maximum width woods racers recommend for GNCC or hare scrambles is? Thanks

I think its 50 inches?

47 is about as wide as I like....50 inches and you will be smacking tree's and fighting ruts

I'm 47.5" and there is no way I would go any wider. It's not bad for GNCC's, but local stuff is a PITA. I'll be switching to 4/1 wheels and drawing my axle in another spacer before long.

I also have my TRX at 47and It was good for the GNCC. Locally I am very glad that I am at 47. I have friends that race at 49 and 50 and one is now going back to the stock arms because of how tight it is.
