the 250R probably has a counter balancer, i think. not really sure. if your thinkin about puttin a cr250 engine in your 300ex frame you can make it work but it will vibrate a lot. there was something like that in one the the magazines a while back.

the newer CR250's have a powervalve wich helps in the lower RPM's.

everything, 250r is counter balanced cr is powervalved

a cr250 motor is gonna go in my R frame when i get it.Or i just gonna put a yz426:blah

i would never put it in a 300 frame, but maybe a custom Ficsher, Arens, or Herrmann frame!!!!!i saw it in a mag (probably ATV sport) and i like it.

Go with the YZ426 swap, you'll be happier with the result, especially for MX.
