Coolent and jetting question

well I just put coolent in my bike and I got some leaking out of the bolts can I just put rtv around the studs and bolt it up tight?

also was wondering what a starting point would be for jetting for my bike. I have no idea never ridden a 250r before hopefully I will tomorrow. my mods are listed

Cr250 reeds
cool head with 19cc dome
170 psi compression
32-1 premix. 94 octane.

i think the cool heads are suppose to have copper washers under the nuts to keep it from leaking. I would say a good starting point would be 170 ish

Are you using orings or a head gasket with the cool head? Either way, you should take it back off and seal it up properly.

94 maybe a little low with a 19cc dome..
