It's all done and ready for the season. most of the money is in the motor where you can't see it! i went through the whole motor, practically everything is new except the cases. I kept it mostly stock besides a 11:5:1 JE piston because it makes plenty of power for me. I didn't get a chance to powder the frame this year but i will next winter for sure. Tell me what you guys think! keep in mind i'm only 17 and making min wage. thanks!

Definitely time for a shock revalve/respring. Otherwise great looking quad, super clean.

You'll be okay with the stock shocks for now. I ran that exact set-up, stock shocks and burgard +2s and i did okay

i think alot of people underestimate the stock 450r front shocks. I know they are not perfectly set up for you like you can get with aftermarket or revalved shocks, but i think i can set them up for me pretty well. it just takes time. The header is white brothers, i havent seen any other 450r's with that pipe yet, same with the hood.

i thought the same thing but tht couldnt be farther from the truth, if you saved up and got yours revalved and resprung or some elkas you wldnt beleive the diffrence and would never go back to stock

The difference between stock and aftermarket shocks, is like going from riding in a 60's dump truck, to riding in a new cadillac.

that's a pretty nice bike you got. I have the money to get new shocks, but i like to save money incase something goes wrong with my motor, or my truck. about how much does a company like c&d racing charge for just a revalve?
