On 08 525 irs, Will carb turn enough to remove hi and pilot jets?. Which direction exhaust side or other/.

When I jetted mine, I discinnected both boots (one to the air filter and one to the cyl head) and turned it over. I believe the bottom of the carb went away from the exhaust.
