well sure enuff i went out riding this weekend let a friend borrow my 400 and he flipped it. now i got a L for a stem.

My question is if i should just buy another stock one for around 50 and just wait till it breaks or go all out and get and aftermarket one for 350 .?

that and is antivibe worth the $$?

the burgard anti-vibe is an excellent addition to any quad for only $180 or so

So u can run lower bars without having to get the attachment kit..Also in my opion aftermarket stems arnt that great..if u spend 200 on a aftermarket one and 40 on a OEM one no matter what they are still the same because they will both bend..So y spend 200 to replace it if u can get a OEM for 40..So it will take 5 oem stems to equal the aftermarket one for 200:blah

becuase the aftermarket stem wont bend as easy, will but much less rigid because of anti-vibe and may add to your overall comfort of riding by being taller. and replacing oem stems over and over will cause less riding time and just waste your time. there's many reasons why an aftermarkert stem is far better...

ummm...try calling service honda....the person on the phone said it was a little higher then that...

aftermarket stems also utilize (in most of them) a longer tie rod mounting plate. this allows for faster and tighter turning. i did notice this with my houser.(i will get some measurements of a few types for comparision) and i agree....i will never spend $299 on a stem....but i wont use an OEM either.

$131 for an oem stem for an R. $44 for a 400ex. What a price difference... I just went with the burguards antivibe for $175.

i would be more than happy to introduce the two but my frame ran away from home:( it's been a month you would think she's starting to get home sick:huh and come home

thanks for the advice and no anti-vibe just a solid mount
