Here is the carb....Consider the tank also as the petcock mod I did makes more room for this.

I would think so....This has the disc ends so is probably tunable. I will seperate the silencer from the head pipe for shipping. That would make it easier to clean up also.

Updated parts list with new price on front shocks. The price on these shocks are about 40% of the cost of new ones!

i was just curious as to how you mounted the fcr carb that i bought to motor. the intake boot from the carb to the motor is too small. what did you do for that? also when i go to mount it up the fcr hit the starter because the carb is so big> what did you do about that? i really need to know.

thanks.

The carb fits into the stock boot. Lube it a little, and it will go in. The carb sits almost directly on the starter. I used a piece of adhesive header tape on the starter so it did not rub metal on metal. Your engine should be heavily modified to make best use of the carb, and of course the jetting will be dependant on how your engine is built. Let me know if there are any other questions.

I had a main jet in it larger that I have heard anyone else be able to run. Try around a 180 main and see if it clears up your blubbering noise. The needle jet is for mid range tuning, but I would bring the main jet down to reality first. Are you running oversize valves and porting? What exhaust? Fuel?

Mr JandJracing,

do you still have the tc pipe.

im running a 14:1 piston with c12 110 octane race fuel. the head is ported but i have regular sized valves in it. ill try my old main jet in it, i have a 175 ill throw in it and see how it runs.

thanks for clearing all of this up for me. it is very appreciated

its actually running SUPER lean. the needle is on the lowest clip so is getting the most gas in midrange. it is popping before it hits top end so i havent dealt with the main jet.

my question is do you know what size jet needle is in the carb? if it is a stock jet needle can you tell me what the carb originally came off of?

thank you!

The carb is from a RMZ250. The needle is from TC. TC grinds off numbers so it is not easy to duplicate. You can size the needle with a calipers. I sized it up once and it matched the stock RMZ250 needle. Hope this helps.

I do have the front shocks. The price is $500. They cost $1349.00 new. This is a great deal at this price. I don't think you will find a tripple rate with compression and rebound adjustments for this price range. Thanks-
