I heard there is an article in Dirt Wheels that says LEM (Italian Mini Race Motorcycles) is going to start making the Typhoon? Anyone got any info on this?

Looks like their own version as it's called the Condor. Motor appears to be a different brand and a few different things such as bumper and rear chain slide from what I can see in the pic. Someone needs to come out with one with better stock suspension though. I did send our old stockers in to GT Thunder and he advised these could be revalved for better handling. I'm sure they can be resprunng as well. Honestly, I'm happy to see someone still producing these bikes as those of you have seen from some of us here on the site these bikes can compete with the 2 stroke mini's that have been dominant in the sport the last few years. All you need to do is purchase one of the Pitster, Lifan, GPX, (Quality motors) and use it to ride dunes, trails, TT, MX, etc... I may be about to purchase another as well because their so inexpensive to build. Will have some goodies for everyone in the coming weeks in the handling department ;) . Keep checking back periodically  .

thanks, I'm glad to see it. LEM is know for high performance 2 strokes so it surprises me. Hopefully, it will take it's place in the market and give rise to more after market parts.
