looks good, but i think you will have to have the swinger installed to get the correct chain alinement. i luv this stuff. my hybird is almost ready for powder coating. keep up the good work.

Frame jig works well!! We have got the swinger on at the moment to align the sprockets. We have engine mounts made, rear sprocket made. Just got to fab the top rails, exhaust (twin Akrapovic cans)!!!

Anyone got any idea for uprating the brakes? Will wavey disks and good pads be enough???!!!

the stock fronts is probably your only option. but, for the rear i would try and put a bigger street bike caliper and rotor to help rein in all that extra weight.

Might have to mock something up with the stock yzf brakes. hmmmmm:blah:

A more powerful rear brake without a much stronger front would not be the hottest idea.

The rule is that about 75-85% of your braking power comes from the front because as you brake, all of the vehicle's weight transfers to the front end. An overly powerful rear brake will make the rear more likely to lock up and swap ends.

I would actually recommend larger diameter front wheels (and wider front tires, for that matter) and see about a larger diameter rotor and/or upgrading the front calipers.

That is, if this is going to be run on the street. If it's going to be just a dragster, then forget all this because it usually doesn't matter.

you have a relivant point. but it will be harder to mount big brakes up front to store the energy necessary to bring it to a quick halt. the bigger tires will only create minimal increases in friction to make the stock brakes more effective.

i believe that a skilled rider can manipulate a rear brake to work similiar to an ABS system.

but to bring a bike to a solid braking stop you need at least 60% of the braking forces handled by the front.

We are going to use a wavy disk setup with the YZF600 master cylinders. Should work well and look good on the bars.

I was just wondering where are you going to put the filler neck? do you have enough room to use the stock hole in the plastics? I did a gixxer 750/quadzilla and had enough room to do it cause the tank is in front of the header.

The fuel tank is under the seat in the subframe.

It's going to have the filler neck under the seat.

We will fab a fake filler cap where the original one was, purely for aesthetics :-)

What colour do you guys think I should paint the frame??

It's going to have yellow plastics.

I was thinking gloss black with gold flake.

nice work. i have a question about street legal quads in England and the rest of Europe....
can any atv be converted for street use? what is actualy required. can you ride your treet legal quads in other European countries? i have family in Croatia that i am going to visit next summer. i would love to bring my 1987 trx250r over with me. the quad has a current Ohio (usa) title. we can only title them as offroad.

any help would be appreciated

thanks
