head lights dont work...need help

my head lights dont work but my taillight does... can anyone give me a idea where to start????

Start with the bulbs.

the bulbs r good..do u know how many volts there is suppost to be...and the relays only have one wire that gets 12volts and that is only when the headlight switch in on...

check the connections under the front fenders. i know my wire came out of the plug that allows you to disconnect the headlights. it was the last thing i looked for when mine went out

ok...but that still doesnt explain..y i dont have a constant 12volts. if the relays r the same has ones on cars..u have to have a constant 12volts and then a 12volts turned on and off by a switch...does anyone know where i can get a book on yfz. either for sale or on the net???

Just for the record, you do know that your YFZ has to be running for the headlights to work, right? Not just the key turned on...
