450 shocks and a arms which ones??

i am looking at getting a set of 450 shocks(either kfx or 450r) and +2 or +1 arms. i have heard that the shocks work btter with + arms are these people talking about long travel or regular travel.

go with the 450r shock, and a +1 long travel a-arms. Thats what I would like.

The stock 400EX shocks work well with +2, not so stiff.
