Has anyone changed to a HMF slip-on or full system?? Looking for any comparison with other pipes. Does the spark arrester hurt the HMF performace? Any help please, trying to make up mind!
I have one on my Warrior and I bought a spark A. after about 2 weeks and didnt notice much difference. It has much more power over my cobra and is also quiter.

Just buy it man. I switched from my Yosh.(which is for sale) to the HMF, and although the quality is good(not quiiite as good as Yosh.) i am really happy with it. Reasons i bought it are: looks(not everyone has one), sound(really nice deep bark), spark arrestor(doesn't change much), price, and it added power in the lower-mid rpm ranges which is where i wanted more at.
It's a winner, go for it

hey Drtridr18, thanks for info. I have heard the yosh is a good pipe. You say the hmf pulls better in the mid, that would work. How loud is the pipe compared to others???
Thanks!

Yes the sound is awesome, it's a bit more open and has bigger endcap than my Yosh did, might be a bit louder, but ehhh can't really tell. Really deep bark, sounds wicked barreling thru the woods or crackin' it up a hill. I'm not that strong or a perfect rider, but with a twist of the wrist and a healthy weitght shift, i can roll it up in 3rd usually at the right spot in the revs without probs.

Nah, just a slip-on, i was thinking 175 shipped, where do you live? I've got a like brand new stock filter and i'll throw in the main jet that dynojet reccomends for that setup.

... this is the spark arrester....its just a screen that pops in. its easy to remove by taking the 3 end cap screws out.
Here is a older pic with the HMF on it.
Here is another recent pic after a long days riding and working.

Thanks appreciate the comment. I was at first going to go with the non-powdered coated one, but then I seen that. Had to have it.
