Good pics and good wheelies!

I was wheeling my sisters 250ex today. That thing is SOOOOO easy to wheelie. I go forever barely moving in the bottom of first gear.

he can do some awesome wheelies(i couldnt catch them all)...i am still learning, and he doesnt have a grab bar, so he has to be careful...i still kneel on the seat to do wheelies, but u barely have to give the 250x gas, u just have to pull up....the other day we took his 2002 rancher es out on the ice, and got it to spin in place at 34mph.....it was awesome:devil

ha i got u beat. lol i had my dads sportsman 5004x4 spinning in one place at 50mph in the middle of a street(with snow on the ground). its really fun to do isnt it. if u have a awd car u can do it also.

thats gotta suck though standin up a quad with no grab bar to save ya, and the quad juss flies back and sits on top of ya while ur cursing and tryin to push the thing off of ya:D ;)

yeah, thats why i am apprehensive about pulling huge wheelies right now...i would like that little assurance that the grab bar offers.....ben got to practice with the grab bar on, and then broke it, so he can pull some nice wheelies w/o it on, since he has been practicing...i am used to my Yz's powerband, not the 250x....someday i will have him snap a few shots of me ridding around....and ben didnt have the rancher all the way floored, but i think it maxs out(or at least his does) around 47 on dry pavement...he used to wait for me to get off the bus and then fly by at top speed..before he had the 250x:rolleyes: showoff:p

nah....they rarely come around anymore, and if they do come near, we can smell them ahead of time so we can scatter:devil j/k...but there are like no cops, and there are tons of other people that do the exact same thing.there was even a kid out there that kept egging me on to come out and burn him, he just kept going back and fourth in front of my house for about an hour...needless to say, later i went and schooled his arse:D

tried to get my bike to run, it almsot did, but didnt so i was the camera man once again...here ya go...theres 8 pics in all i think...
1...story time....ben loaded up his brothers rancher and took that home, and his quad was at my hosue, so i rode it around, practiced some nice wheelies, got betteer....then he came back and started chasing me through the field with his truck.....then he was like half parked in the field/half on the road, and i had just put his quad behind his truck, and a sheriff goes rolling by, reallly slow.....then we all skattered and took off...(since there is supposed to be "No Trespassing" signs up on the field, but my friend knocked 'em all down:devil )

hmm...wonder what happened here....tons of smoke and bright lights:huh ...lmao actually it was a snowblower that we were working on, and it had alotta oil in it...garage door was closed too:scary: ...notice in the picture, ben was wearing jeans, a hoody, and a helmet....COLD:eek:

Thanks for the tips guys. I am getting the hang still of where the "sweet spot" is or the "tetter tottering" spot of the quad. I will work on sitting back more this weekend and have YZ post some more.
BTW, I am 6'2''
I dream of a 400, but as of now life is giving me a kick in the balls........So it'll be a lil bit. Maybe end of summer?????? :(

I am 6"5 and ride a 300ex.Sitting back or forward when riding wheelie's doesn't really matter.Atleast when you are leaning forward you can control the bike a little more.

And yes everyone says I make my bike look tiny.But I like it.I had to shave the fenders so I could lean in corners.LOL

I just did yesterday b4 the snows came..... Didn't turn out so well when the quad was teetering on the grabbar abd I hadda save myself with the ole boot:devil

i would love to have a 400ex, and plan on it late summer/early fall:devil i think i take some pretty good pictures...what do u guys think?(so far all of hte pictures i have posted were taken by me) i try my best, and they turn out pretty good, IMO:)

Ya i think they turned out pretty well, and I think you said that when you press the button to take the picture it has a bit of a delay to it, so either way they are comin out good
