Im putting my 4 wheeler up for sale in hopes of getting a 250 4 stroke dirt bike or maybe a 450 4 wheeler that needs a little work or is bone stock. The price is somewhat negotiable but not much given the amount of extra stuff im sending with the quad. Its in good shape, not going to lie it was rough when I got it but i dumped a good bit of money into this thing and im asking way less than I have into it. Only trade ill take is for a dirt bike (yz250f, crf250, etc) or a 450 4 wheeler (yfz450, trx450r, etc) that needs work or is bone stock for the same price

2002 yellow honda 400ex

ASKING PRICE: $2200

Engine:
5 HOURS ON TOP END OF ENGINE (BUILD DATE WAS 03/07/10)
416 bore 11:1 compression Wiseco piston
Stage 2 hot cam (more mid to top end power)
TCC Shorty supertrapp exhaust (sounds good)
Grinded down header welds (gives it a little more power)
CRF450 heavy duty timing chain
COMETIC top end kit with new OEM honda stator cover gasket and clutch cover gasket, also has new crush gaskets for the exhaust and new oil seal for shifter
2005 trx450r carburetor (great improvement over stock)
UNI filter (still has air box, no lid or snorkel)
also had oil leaks but fixed them all (quick and easy fixes)

Chassis:
2002 stock frame
Fullflight +2 a-arms
Works performance front shocks with remote mount rezzies
2005 trx450r rear shock
DG nerf bars with blue nets
DG front bumper (bent but will try to get as straight as possible)

Body:
Stock 2002 yellow 400ex plastics (fronts are stitched from previous owner, rears are in good shape, could use a seat cover which i will try to get before sold)
Maier 1 piece race cut yellow front plastics (good shape)
Maier hybrid cut rear fenders with a small crack in them, also comes with another seat (fenders were cut for a backwards kick yz426 engine)

Wheels and tires:
Douglas red label true beadlock 8x8 rears with 18x9.5x8 grooved turf tamers
Douglas red label polished fronts 10x6 fronts with 145/R10 Riken grooved trailer tires (hook extremely well in dirt, grass, etc)
Front stock wheels with stock tires ( i believe one wheel is slightly bent, decent tread on tires)
Rear stock wheels with stock tires (pretty good tread on tires)
2 rear dunlop tires 20x10x9 (about 30% tread left, just kept them for spares incase i needed them, no wheels on them)

misc:
All stock suspension (a-arms, front and rear shocks with all linkage plus 2005 trx450r linkage)
2005 trx450r aluminum swingarm (had for a spare)
Jets, plugs, head gasket, stock carburetor, and a few other things im sure im forgetting but will throw in everything I have for a 400ex
New throttle cable
New battery

Ill get new pics and clean it up really good when the rain stops down here. The bike is mechanically in good shape and ive seen others that look worse with less done to them sell for more. Some of you know what I paid for it but I put a good bit of money into it and dont want to lose too much of it.

I am looking to buy a 400ex by this weekend, so I am in a rush. What is the absolute least you would take for it if I come tomorrow afternoon? I am by Lafayette, not sure where french settlement is?

Honestly man it's at the bottom price I can go. I put $2000 into it not including the price of the bike. My girlfriend lives in brusly by port Allen and the bike will be with me there tomorrow. I have 2 things left to fix on it just got to put the gaskets on. It's leaking oil from the stator cover gasket and the shifter seal but I'm fixing them in the morning. Shoot me a pm and I'll give you my number and we can discuss anything you need to know.
