I was wondering if anybody here knew what make and model the ball joints for the older style Laeger a-arms are from?

Somebody once told me it was a 73 vw superbeetle tie rod end, but when I checked on those, they were way too large. I know it's some kind of vw tie rod end.

Others used mazda pickup or geo tracker tie rods, but I want confirmation without having to look up a bunch of parts and order the wrong one.

If you give me the THREAD size & Pitch I can tell you which one it is.

If it's a M14x1.5 pitch it's actually from a Porsche 911 - PART#ES2096R

If it's a M16x1.5 pitch it's the GEO Tracker - Part#ES3045RL

You can give these part #'s to any Auto supply store and they can order them in.

I've seen these referenced on other posts:

Moog number ES2074R from a 80-82 Mazda B-2000 actually an inner tie rod end.

or Moog number ES3045RL tie rods from an 89-98 Geo Tracker.

may be worth a call to the parts store to get the specks.

Are they all the same or are the tops a different part number than the bottom - or is one the inner and the other is the outer?
