I got this in a 250r lot off ebay and have never used one and don't know if I will here is how it was listed "ported RAD valve in excellent shape with carbon fiber 2 stage petals, ready to bolt on and go" it looks good and the reeds look good but just wondering if it's worth putting on or not.

I have one on mine with the carbon reeds, but really don't have anything to compare it to on a 250r. From what I've read, the RAD valve is favored for all-around, woods, and mx, while the V-Force is favored for higher rpm applications. Either way, figure you can't go too wrong. I've also gathered that many prefer the fiberglass reeds (RL-19??) over the carbon for increased durability.

I run the RAD valve and it is about as good of reed cage you'll find for all around riding, XC, mx, etc... crisp throttle response...

when those carbon reeds go bad and they will, get your self some RL-19's from Boyesen they are cheaper and last longer...

agree'd. i have one on all my quads and love them. as mentioned..... the carbon reeds are very short lived. go with the rl-19 series when the time comes.

did some research on this one and it's a RAD02B 86-98 CR250 it's pretty neat how they cut the airflow into 4 runners but I think it's heading back to ebay.

That is a newer one I think. I ran an older model one on my 250r and it was great. 86 quad R bought it off of me
