Ok so I bought an engine on ebay after mine was shot. After i got everything hooked up I go to start it and it just makes a fast clicking sound back at the battery. When i disconnected the ground it only clicked once so that must mean its grounded fine. When i disconnected the wire to the starter and touched it to the motor it made that fast clicking sound, so it must not be the starter. I'm stumped and frustrated with it, I hate to think its something in the motor. To get to the point, if anyone has any suggestions or possible solutions please let me know. That guy better not have sold me a bad motor.

If the clicking is coming from the silanoid by the battery? Try to check and charge your battery. Sounds like your battery is dead though

i don't think its dead, it had a nice spark when i put a screw driver across the 2 terminals and my tail light comes on
