I got my dynojets in yesterday and i rejetted my bike like it said. When I fired it up it shoots raw gas out of the exhaust. I dont understand what could have happened. It wont idle I have to hold down the acc. for it to run. For some reason its too rich. I played with the fuel mixture screw and it didnt do anything. Any help appretiated.

did you change the needle when you rejetted?

Yea changed the needle put the e clip on the third notch. Put a 146 main in it. It said start out 3 and a half turns and i went from there and screwed it all the way in and no change to her on the fuel mixture.

That washer that is supposed to go ontop of the needle jet does that serve a purpose or would it cause any problems?

Yes, use the washer as directed (when you screw the two tiny screws for the arm back in make sure the washer doesn't stick or become crooked underneath) . Are you running with an airbox lid or no? Just screwing with mine I bottomed out the a/f screw and turned out a little over 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 when I found the smoothest idle. Stock pilot jet? If you stab the throttle full, does it bog out?

Yea I have the air box lid on. I put a 42 pilot and thought that might be the prblem took it out and put the stocker in and it ran the same. The only way it will crank and run is if you have it WOT. Then when you do that it just shoots raw gas out the exhaust like its to rich.

Is the float hung up? Leave the fuel on and check the overflow for leaking gas. If it's dripping the float is stuck open, but sounds like it might be a hair high even where fuel is getting sucked in. Hate to say it but if you put it back stock does it run okay? Could have a bad needle... Good luck hope this helps.

Well I almost f-ed up. I dropped the brass needle that seats behind the main jet adapter. I didnt know it fell out so this should solve the problem. Thx for all the help and suggestions ill let you know if this cleared the situation up.

Got everything put back together and that baby runs good now. Got 150 main, stock pilot, 3 and a half turns on the srew it woke it up alot.

150 dyno jet main or 150 keihn main? And what do you have done in order to use the jet kit?

150 dj main all i have done is gutted my exhaust and thats it. Later on im gonna get k&n.
