hey guys tore in to my rear end today got the carrier out the bearings are shot . can i rebuild the stock one by replacing the bearings is it even worth it im keeping my stock axle is the a quality after market carrier out there that will work with my stock axle that not to spendy some where in the neighbor hood of 100 to 150 bucks

Just knock out the old ones and put in some new bearings and seals, I think the stock carrier will work on most after market axels. The only deference would be the lock nut.
I know my Dura-Blue did. I had to use a deferent lock nut though.

so which way do the bearings come out can i press all 4 of them straight down and out through the carrier or do they come out on their respective ends

they come out the respective ends.

Just grab the carrier and slam it down on a block of wood a few times. The weight of the inner sleeve will drive the bearing out.

if it is a stock carrier, there will only be 2 bearings...one on each side.

Thanks help worked like a champ
