timing question

Hey guys i am going to try to help a friend put his 06 yfz 450 back together tommorow, but ihave never timed one of these machines, can anybody tell me how to line up the marks on the cams, pics would help alot, thanks guys.

You cant get pics from yfzcentral they have a cam mod step by step with pics. I would for sure recommend the cam mod. Its been a day or 2 but i think both cam marks will be straight up when you its at TDC.

Sent you a pm with a link to pictures. Each cam has two marks -- one nearly straight up, but the other and more important/easy to align are the marks that are in a horizontal line with each other and right at the top of the head. The link will also tell you how to do the exhaust cam mod, which most guys like.
