Swingarm Grease Zerk Hole

Well I just picked up a laeger's swingarm for my R. I was not thinking when I originally bought it, but it does not have a hole in it for me to grease my lonestar bearing carrier. Would it be alright for me to drill a hole for greasing, or is this sacrilege?

Don't drill a hole in your swinger. It takes like five minutes to take the rear end apart to get the carrier out.

It's not that it's sacrilege, IMO it's just dumb.
