Well after hours on the computer designing and chasing parts down I have started the process of building. This is A 50cc Production bike used for TT and MX. I am aiming this bike towards MX since there is another bike going to be built just for TT. I will keep this thread updated as the progress goes on and please feel free to ask questions and submit comments. I can not unleash all my secrets but there will be a few let out. Will post pictures here in a few.

Thanks
Shawn

This is the frame powder coated black and everything else in Red. The A-Arms are 44" and have been cut and welded to except 16" shocks. More to come hopefuly If I get a swing arm done correctly I might have a roller this weekend and then I can start the motor build!

The aluminum swinger LOL. This one is the same length as the square tube DRR.

Started the motor build now, I might be able to take this for a spin here in a week or two. Still have 3 more parts to buy and have to make 4 more, still deciding on the brakes whether to spend th money to upgrade them or not I hate these stock ones they weigh a ton. If there is spelling erros or missing words sorry doing this from my Droid! Love this phone, well its a love hate type thing, the phone portion sucks the rest is awesome if that makes any since

Now I see what you mean about the different shock mount. Mine is mounted between the arms.

If your going to powder coat my TT swinger I will send you a sample of the color. If you want ship me the parts before you weld them and I will polish them.

Dont forget to put your logo on it. If you cant put Zacks name on it dont worry.

Thats a neat and funny little video Shawn. Did you notice the kids running at the end of your first pass away from the camera? LOOK OUT! LOL.
I also noticed you did not stay out there very long, the stinking cops may show up eh? LOL

Its funny last year they would come everytime I statred the quad up. After i shot the video I changed some stuff and went back to do another pass, freakin cop rolled around the corner waved and kept moving ( I was on riding the bike).

We have some old neighbors down the way that hate everything! Kinda funny though everytime we see a cop you can see them peeking out the door!

Wheres your helmet!!! LOL Looking Good I see the Trackside pipe even works with 50cc motors.

I know there is alot of people wondering which pipe to run on a 50. I was one of them asking this question last year. After running 5 pipes I found that the trackside is the best for what I have built. The other pipe that would pull this bike nice was the technigas, but horrible bottom end. The trackside pulled slightly better on the top and had all the bottom end grunt you could want from a 2 stroke. Below is a video link to the bike in the garage just showing the throttle/bottom end will take an actually run video this weekend, wether is rain with more rain latley which doesn't show anythign except massive tire spin LOL.

Yeah this thing is nasty! Its rich tight now. Going to run another tank thru it then start the tuning process, once close then off to the dyno.

Thanks for the comment!

Hey Shawn,
Thank you so much for that custom aluminum swingarm you did for us. We have used it at several local races on our 2Fast Apex and ran it all last weekend at the EDT Nationals. I have had alot of people ask me about, when are you going to make more?

Did you dyno that 50 yet ?

Team-Ty
06-06-2010, 04:08 PM
yeah I did one run @ 11.6 @ 12,800 but dont trust the number though, havent gone back to do another run. The owner of the machine wasnt sure if it was capable of picking up the anythign lower then 20 hp but it did. So i dont know if that is a correct number or false. Still want to get it dynoed just need to find someone close that can do it. Only thing I can tell you is it layed rubber all the way up the drive way with 10" wide kart tires on it.
