How to get master link clip off

Ok, someone installed the master link clip backwards on my chain so I need to remove it an install it right. How do I get it off and can I reuse it?

I usually roll the quad until the masterlink is on the rear sproket so it is sturdy. then i use a fairly large flathead screwdriver to tap the front of masterlink clip backwards so it comes off. you can reuse it as long as it's still tight.

Yep, flat screwdriver or a smaller chiesel. Both work. Just be careful not to lose it, if it springs out of there (watch your eyes.)
