compression on 08 stocker

how many psi compression should a stocker have? i've also heard of a leakdown test instead of a traditional compression test what is this? thanks

your yfz has a decompression mechanism on the cam so a traditional compression test doesn't work, you have to do the leak down test. the leak down test is where regulated air is put in to the cylinder and by reading the gauge you can tell how much air is able to pass by your piston and rings. do not attempt if unless you have the correct tool for the job.

stock compression for 06-09 is 11.2 : 1

alright thanks on my last ride the carb floats somehow got stuck open and the oil got saturated with gas im really hoping nothin in the top end is ruined im tearing it down today just thought i'd check compression before i do this but i dont have a lwakdown tester so screw it i guess lol thanks again
