Do i need a baffle?

Is it bad to run my T-4 without a baffle. I've heard many different things. That is not as powerful because no back pressure and that its bad on your valves. Anyone know the real answer? Thanks

i understand. sounds sick w.o it tho. but what im trying too figure out is it bad for my engine or any part of my quad?
