mysterious oil leak, ugh need help

So i was gunna take some steel whool to my header when i noticed the was alot of oil around the header pipe

now i havent rode this since last fall, and it ran great with no problems

yes, i know theres a nut missing.... i was in the process of taking off the header

ya i got it, this is common. you need to put rtv/silicon on the threads of the front two bolt holes right above the headers. oil ponds there, on the front of the head and will leak down the threads. it shows it in the manual.
