The floats in your carb probably stuck open. I would clean carb out real good, check the float assembly and then change your oil 3-4 times

My 400ex experienced the same problem a few months ago. I had a stuck float needle, so I suggest a full clean out of the carb. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

yes but, gas wont make oil milky, if the oil is milky (white) it has water in it.

Im guessing that there is more than one problem with his bike......

well i cleaned the carb and tore the top end down just to check things out put new head and base gaskets in and the oil is still milky i've been doin some reading and im guessing the oil seal in the water pump is out cuz the coolant looks a little dark too but at least now the oil dont smell like gas. thanks

the color of the coolant shouldn't have changed, but milky oil was deff from coolant
there should b enough pressure in the coolant lines that it doesnt let oil in juz coolant out into the case and making the oil milky
