all 250r's after 85 are liquid cooled, all before 85 are air-cooled :cool:

Cool, thanks guys. There are a bunch of people in my school that are saying that they are air cooled. One of my teachers even called his friend and an employee at our local Honda shop, they both said that they are air cooled. I have been going crazy hearing their BS. Nobody believes me, except my friends that ride. Thanks!!!:macho

just show them a pic of a r and ask why there is a radiator on the bike? is it just for looks?

I tried that, but they don't believe me. I tried to explain why the 250R doesn't have air cooling fins, why it has a radiator, a water pump, and radiator shroud (even though some people run shrouds on air cooled machines..). But I am going to call the Honda dealer again and get them to tell my teacher the truth!!!:grr
