450R - lube & oil type ?

Ok. took my swingarm bolt out & greased it & put it back in. That good enough or should I have done more?


Redoing the brakelines - calls for DOT 4

all the auto place have 3 & 4 together. Can u use that or should I find the DOT 4 only?

i saw some wheres on here that on 400ex's they put grease fittings in the side of the swing arm bolt and drill a couple littli holes in the part of the swing arm bolt that is inside the cases and the swing arm. but im not sure if the 450r swing arm bolt is the same as a 400ex.

I would have put anti sieze on it. That what I always do. Either way, as long as itscoming out you are fine. Just do it everytime to change your oil. It's a real pain when it locks on those collars.

swing arm bolt gets done once a year for me. Not everytime I change the oil :confused:
