I have a 91 250x. it needs a rear caliper. I was reading that other model atv calipers will work. Could someone please list which one's will work on it? Thanks

x2 and not to jack the thread, But what all rear master cylinders can you use also? Meaning can i use a 400ex or 450r cylinder?
To help out with your question, I think i have read that you can use a front caliper on the rear. If someone can confirm that, that would be kewl... It would be a nice clean rear parking brake factory look "blockoff" also.

I got a 250x frame from a freind and he put a twin piston Harley davidson sportster rear caliper on it. He said it worked fine. I would have used it on mine but one of the mounting tabs are broke. There are several rear calipers that would work however you need to mesure them first. It depents on the brake stay as well as the rest of the parts your are using. I seen a 250r caliper on a 400ex brake stay and 250r rotor. The rotor wasn't tall enough so the bads didn't ware evenly.

And a 400ex rear master cylender is exactly the same as a 300ex master cylinder.
