hello, i have a kfx450 donor quad, the frame was damaged and some other stuff to, but i want to build a hybrid, well im just wondering if the swingarm and a-arms and steering components would fit on any other quad? i want to buy a frame and not have to do much chop and cutting, anyone have any ideas?

Try it in a Z400 frame.

I would sell all the KFX parts and get someone to build you a aftermarket 250R geometry frame to accept that motor or I would use a 400ex frame.

It's unlikely the swingarm, stem and a-arms will fit on anything else. They won't fit on a Z400 - I checked.

The only logical choice is to put the motor in a 250R based HYBRID frame, NOT a stock based frame and take out the EFI and add a carb and kicker.

The reason I say that is because if you put it into a different 4-stroke frame - it is absolutely pointless unless you already have that setup. The best fit would be a KFX frame or second would be a LTR frame. A YFZR would be too expensive, a YFZ might work, but reverse would have to be pretty important to you.

Being that it is EFI, it will be hard to put it in something else without getting a custom fuel tank made.

Where are you located? Can you do the fabricating yourself?
