Do I need a larger main jet, because if I have my 300ex at around 3/4 open and then I goto WO I can't really feel any difference. The engine doesn't change sound or anything.

Here are a few pics after yesterdays ride at lake murray. I buried my front end twice. It was fun though.

i would suggest doing some WOT plug chops and see how one looks to determine how it is running at that position. you could also do some needle runs also to see how it is running there too. good luck, also what jetting are you running on the 300 now? steve

It runs good and everything I just noticed this yesterday. Anyways it was a dyno jet jet kit. 38 pilot, 3 turns out on screw, 4th groove from top on DJ needle, and the DJ 128 main. Mods are in my sig

sounds like you are really close dude, how does the plug look after a bit of riding? steve

Its a dark brownish color. Plug looks good.

sounds like you are good to go, you could try it just to see how it changes it. I wouldnt but if you are bored one day you could see how it does. steve

you could aways try bumping up the main jet one more size just to see if it helps.. if it dont then go back to what you had it it.. it cant hurt anything... im runing a lil ritch on my bike but if i ran the mixure perfect i didnt have like any top end at all so i bumped it up from a 170 to a 185 and it helped my top end a lil but it is runing a lil ritch
