Villopoto won :) i dont really like reed at all either i think that he just tries to make stewart wreck

03-06-2010, 08:28 PM
Lites- Weimer/Barcia

Supercross- Dungey/Villopoto

I HATE Stewart and I used to like Reed. Reed was good back in the day on Yamaha.. but as time goes on he has gotten more arrogant and worse of a rider.

I think after hearing him tonight, he seems to have gotten a reality check and maybe he'll turn around again. Who knows.

Oh and FMX, Travis Pastrana... the GOAT.

And add onto the list Carmichael.

I think Canard has proved himself to everyone, and I can't wait for him to move up permanently.

I like Millsaps, and think he has great potential of getting on the podium/ winning more in the future.

I can't stand Pourcel, something about him... Seems to arrogant.

why should he not bring up his religion on the podium? athletes thank god after wins or outstanding performances all the time. how is this different?
i'm not trying to start a big debate or anything. i'm just wondering what your reasoning is behind your statement.

im not anti religon i just find it distasteful, he should be secure enough in his beliefs and himself to not need to preach it on the podium

most agents and pr people and companies frown upon people representing them using podium time to preach.. also conflicts fans and consumers beliefs in some cases , religon like politics is a touchy thing and companies want to stay on the fence...not saying its generally associated with the riders beleifs but people are dumb and companies dont usually want to draw any attention in that aspect

i was just suprised to hear him say he had to take a stand for the great savior jesus christ... many riders say thank god etc...but this guy was elaborating which generally is a no no

Yeah I understand where you're comin from. Like I said I'm not a very religious person and I can't stand when someone tries to force stuff on me just because I don't go to church as much as they do.

Ive got to represent the local boys and say stroupe and futrell. Also like barcia and villopodium. In about 5 years, cooper webbs gonna be my favorite haha. Hes a local kid but hes a beast, hes always winning championships at lorettas.

SRH
03-09-2010, 09:43 PM
haha guy cooper was moving there, i followed mx pretty good from 92-99 as a young kid, its amazing how much the tracks and bikes have changed, stewart would of embarassed those guys if there was a time machine and he could take his current equipment...

those sx tracks then were built a bit hairy...kinda crazy the way cooper was riding he pulled away from mcgrath and stanton like that, youd never get by with that on todays sx tracks...

i almost wonder if the braking sucked that bad on those bikes or the suspension...they really creeped into some of the corners and obstacles by todays standards...i had a 94 rm and i thougth it was awesome...so strange that bike couldnt hold a candle to todays stuff...

you know whats funny...well ironic...emig stuttered like a mofo and actually had big issues with speaking on camera....hes now a commentator
