Please be in Prayer for my Dad (Raymond).

I took him in on Tuesday, he was having a tremendous amount of pain in the top of his stomach. Come to find out it is a small bowel obstruction. He was transferred to TMC in Sherman, TX for surgery. They performed a CT Scan and found a large tumor (baseball to softball size) on his left kidney. The plan was to move him to MD Anderson in Houston, TX on Monday but the bowel obstruction is getting worse. They plan to operate in the morning to remove the bowel obstruction and his left kidney. Looks like the tumor is cancerous and it is self contained, not spreading.

I just ask that you be in Prayer for him.

He is out of surgery and everything went well. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. We really appreciate it. I will update later.

Surgery went exceptionally well.

They removed the left kidney and then it was on to the bowel obstruction. They found that at some point he had a mild case of appendicitis that left some scar tissue. Upon removing the appendix and scar tissue the bowel straightened up immediately.

He's on a morphine pain pump and feelin no pain.....
