I'm going to be starting a hybrid build with a cannondale frame and a crf450 motor very soon. When my frame arrives next week i will be starting the build. I will post pictures when I get the frame and check out how well the motor is going to fit. My biggest concern is the clearence for the carb, it might hit the rear shock mount/cross member.

I'm doing most of the work myself, besides the swingarm Walsh will be making me.
I've decided to completely change the rear shock location by moving it up and back a bit. I will have more clearance for the carb and intake this way. The location I will be using for the rear shock mount was designed by custom axis and pro racer nic grunland for MX. It was originally a custom fabricated top link for the rear top shock mount and I'm just going to make a cross member that will have the shock mount in that exact location the link did.

I'm still waiting for the frame to arrive. Then I need to get Tigor Racing or walsh to build me a custom one off swingarm before I start on motor mounts.

The crf motor is to wide. I would need to cut the right side frame rail out a bunch. The motor is to wide for the frame, the drive sprocket will not clear the frame enough to line up the rear sprocket. :(
It looks like i'm going with a completely updated cannondale motor.
