reverse on 99-04

has anybody put a new style bottomend in a 99-04 frame?
just finished the transplant and trying to figuerout what to do with the reverse switch where and how to mount the switch or what have yall did

hey man ive seen this done a couple times and usally the reverse switch is somewhere on the front plastic.
R your front fenders race cut?
if not u could mount it in the bend of the fender like the 660 raptor had it
if they are race cut then where the plastic comes backs and the top tank cover connects on u could mount it through the fender
like run it on the side of the frame and the c where i could cut a hole in the fender for it to slide into then put it in and mount it somehow
personally never done this juz saw it done im fine with not haveing reverse

i just did this. i used an old mountain bike shifter and cable and a universal knob thing on the end of the cable to attach to the lever on the tranny. then i used the hollow bolt adjuster thing that the cable runs through from the mountain bike to secure the cable in the little bracket in front of the lever. i have the mountain bike shifter mounted on the handlebars. if you need pics i could try to figure out how to post them.
