hey guys im new to the forum and in the market for sprockets to put on my 08 400ex. Any one have any suggestions and why on what size? Also what jetting and intake? I took off the silencer spark arrester on the stock exhaust and i been wondering if that would do or should i jus spend the money on an exhaust and which one. im in the military stationed in Vladez, alaska so money is tight but all i really do is ride so i want to set up my bike for lots of power for the trails and wheelies.

It all depends on what you’re trying to do. Use the calculator to see what the deference’s are. Put in the tire size and the sprocket combo you want and it will tell you how fast it will go in each gear. You can also change the rpm range to see what changes occur in your speed.

the 08's had a 14 front sprocket on them correct? And I believe a 38 in the rear, thats a pretty good overall setup, I just replaced my 15 tooth front on my 05 with a 14th and love it. I'm not trying to go 80mph on my quad either..
